  Nazism - formally known as National Socialism is the totalitarian ideology and practices associated with the Nazi Party - the National Socialist German Workers' Party. Nazism is considered a German version of fascism, but it differs from the Italian original.  The Nazis gained popularity by resetting to social discontent and the difficult situation in Germany after the World War I and the fear of the growing threat from communism. The Nazis offered the Germans a romantic vision of their nation's superiority over others and pointed out those responsible for the situation in the country at that time. Fascism is based on militarism and nationalism. This doctrine was against the idea of parliamentary democracy. It also rejected Marxism and liberalism. It was focused on corporatism nad statist model of the economy. Main goal was the strong, absolute state, which has full control over all aspects of social and economic life.
