Armenia PM Nikol Pashinyan accuses army of attempted coup
This week I’ve read an article about situation in Armenia after the short military conflict with Azerbaijan. The whole situation is related to the loss of Karabakh – a mountain region belonging to Azerbaijan but controlled by Armenians since truce in 1994. Last year due to conflict Armenia had lost this region for the Azeris. Shortly after the end of the conflict Armenian Prime Minister had dismissed a few commanders from military staff and sacked armed deputy chief Tiran Khachary. The loss of enclave and these decisions seriously angered Amrenian military management, which accuses the government of ineffective foreign policy.
