France urges citizens to leave Pakistan amid anti-French protests

This week I have read an article about international relations between France and Pakistan. Article can be found on BBC.                                                                                                                        The whole situation is very serious because France embassy issued a statement itself. French authorities warned people and they  are calling for a massive departure from Pakistan by French citizens. The reason of the  statement are anti French protests. The protest intensify in whole country, in last clashes two policemen lost their lives. The protests were response to ”France defended the right to show cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.” According to the Islamic world including Pakistan it is unacceptable profanation. Previously French president Emmanuel Macron publicly defended the freedom of expression after the execution of the teacher who had shown cartoons like this on his lessons.                                                                    The protest are going out of control and it anti-French attitude in Pakistan is still increasing so it is time to come back to France.                                                                                                      In my opinion, it is going to be another big problem in Middle East. The matter of religion is a bit more complicated in Muslim world. The faith is one of the highest value there, if not the highest so acts like that can be another powder barrel. I think the West should be more careful in their narration and predict the consequences of those statements like French presidents.

  1. Where on the BBC - LINK!
    It's the MIDDLE East.
If you are honest, do you really think it's worth quashing freedom of speech to protect people's religious sensitivity? And I don't just mean Muslims.
